City & Guilds:
Pre-Exam Workshop
For Written Paper
For most candidates, it is a daunting experience taking their City and Guilds exam. Whilst the practical assessment follows a typical service, the written element often causes many candidates concern. With busy workshops and their managers, there is often little time to sit and study the supporting Engineers’ Handbook. Candidates therefore subsequently fail the written element of the exam.
What this workshop will cover:
- Introduction to the Engineers Handbook.
- Encouraging constructive searches of the handbook and exercises to facilitate the understanding of the contents.
- Exam technique and revision tips.
- Opportunity to ask questions.
- Practical experience in tackling exam questions.
- Engineers who have attended previous workshops have generally achieved higher marks than other candidates.
