ISRM Pool Plant Operators Certificate   

3 Day Course

This is a three day course and is the only course recommended by the HSE in their document entitled “Safety in Swimming Pools.”  The course will aim to provide staff who work in a swimming pool environment with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Conduct appropriate and legally required Water Tests
  • Run the pool cost efficiently
  • Understand the factors that contribute to pool water quality
  • Ensure the pool is operated safely and within guidelines
  • Understand the importance of hygiene and cleanliness around the swimming pool
  • Handle pollution and health issues with confidence
  • Explain to bathers what can affect pool water quality
  • Maintain customer satisfaction

Delegates who successfully complete an assessment at the end of the course and a short work based assignment will receive an ISRM Pool Plant Operator's Certificate

  • 11th - 13th May 2009 @ Martello Beach, EAST SUSSEX
